you only get good, reliable and frequent transit if you live near the metro or the rem in montreal. it’s sad cuz bus service used to be so much better.

montreal is that one city in canada that's very good at getting infrastructure built - largest rapid transit system in the country, largest network of bus lanes, etc

but it's really kneecapped by having worse service levels than vancouver or toronto. long waits for buses are most noticeable
