They don't have the stones to go for that.

Gorgeous work. I mean at the time inwould have been mortified to think users would see that early version, but now it feels quite ok.
And thats how you bag Vontent Creator of the Year
80 hours into #slaythespire2 and I think I'm almost out of the initial learning phase
"But what if growth AND cutbacks" more profit for less money?"
Your brother is also very talented.
Yeah im aware thats what it was reacting to but his statement didn't talk about genAI. Just if placeholders should always stick out. Which is a valid and interesting conversation in itself.
Not to be all contrarian, but I find there are ocassions, too often for comfort, where the prototypes or placeholders needs to look good and blend in. Notably when showing investors, CEOs. marketing etc. early work and they are not to be trusted with the ability to ignore or see past placeholders.
Undersell of the century. He is after all Duck King!
If you include outbreak, revelations, the remakes etc, there has already been over 30 RE games.
I need to rematch it.
And to develop a game that is designed from the ground up to utilise raytracing to allow it to be more dynamic you have to make that call day 1.
Love those guys. Theyve done a tremendous job explaining these things. But the reality is also MOST games only use it as a way to add slightly prettier shadows and bounce lights because it has not made sense to target ray trace enabled platforms exclusively, financially.
(This is true only for games that are raytracing only. A game with optional ray tracing is just being made prettier which adds nothing as you say)
As a dev, let me assure you you are wrong. What it does for gaming is that instead of baked static levels where things aren't allowed to move, since lights aren't real time, game makers can now once again be free to create environments that are interactive and dynamic. Huge breakthrough.
That makes me curious what made you not expect it to be good?
Might be just showing my age but I feel it's one of those films I remember making a splash on the award circuit and with reviewers back when it came out (as it were)
The new #Formula1 regulations are a joke. "50% battery". Except its charged by the combustion engine in convoluted ways (that ruin racing), meaning it uses MORE fuel than straight combustion.
Its a charade to appease car manufacturers that want to appear forward thinking.
Remember when Sequels used to be just, really improved, perfected versions of the original?
the #SlayTheSpire team remembered, that's for damned sure.
The fact Rocksteady debuted 9 years prior to Leona says a lot about influential and iconic he is in the world of body positive fashion.
Oh I agree. Just saying I've seen that happen.
Usually because its imbalanced, no?It contains a little bit of everything, where it maybe shouldn't. It tends to be overstaffed without a profile. If you made a mario vertical slice it would have every obstacle in that level instead of restraining to a theme.
I've been told, and it works, that to get a song out of your head, just listen to it. Its your brain fixated on something it cant fully remember so it helps it let go.
But i don't WANT to have to listen to Outcasts' "Roses"! My algorithm will be fucked up!
That moment with... that choice... I had tl shut down my computer and think about it for a day before i continued the climb.
Very cool. Would try out. Just have to cut something else in the game to make time to code it.
The emotional rollercoaster of The Perils will follow me for a long time.
Oooh. Im going in a few weeks. Where can i find this exhibition?
Yeah ive ridden some heavier bikes at times. You dont notice it once you're riding. Thats mostly felt when habdling it while parked.
My trident is quite light at 190kg wet weight.
Thats amazing. A fun year ahead.
My favourite game of all time. Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. The true OG 'modern-era' console FPS.. when CoD was still in the 1940's. 24 players on PS2, Xbox & X360. Here are some renders from the fan favourite map 'Backstab' on PS2 upscaled via PCSX2.
