Referentin: Gastreferentin ist Prof. Dr. Dorothea Erbele-Küster von der JGU Mainz. Veranstaltungsdetails: Datum & Zeit: Mittwoch, 14. Januar 2026, 08:30 – 10:00 Uhr. Ort: Theologische Fakultät, Burgstraße 26, 10178 Berlin. Raum: 013 (Hörsaal im Erdgeschoss). Inhalt (Abstract): Der Vortrag befasst sich mit dem sozio-religiösen Ordnungssystem der Reinheitsbestimmungen in Levitikus 11–15. Im Fokus steht dabei das „geschlechtliche Blut“ bei Frauen und Männern im Gegensatz zu Blutverlust durch Verletzungen. Es wird thematisiert, wie weibliches Blut oft als unkontrollierbar gerahmt wurde und welche Rolle die Opfertiere bei den Reinigungsritalen nach der Geburt oder genitalen Erkrankungen spielten. Dabei wird auch die Auslegungsgeschichte vom sogenannten „unreinen Blut“ kritisch hinterfragt.
