The idea we should behave in such a way that the Trumpists will not portray us as dangerous/ lawless/ violent is a silly idea, because they always portray us that way and no amount of curtseys and rolling over and playing dead will change that. So people might as well speak up and stand strong.

This is the spirit of Los Angeles.

The speed with which the country is disassembling! I keep wondering how the regime thinks the US will function without Black and brown people, in a white fantasia. The people left won’t be able to feed themselves, heal themselves, build their homes, or flavor their food. What a choice!

Trump's Big Ugly Bill is the culmination of 40 years of increasing social control in America — ballooning spending on immigrant detention. 

To actually make communities safer, we should be spending on social investments like housing end education.

Impossible to communicate to people that once you decide that a group more vulnerable than you can be sacrificed in the name of your own safety or interests that you have already entered into an tacit agreement that you can also be sacrificed in the interests of a group less vulnerable than you.
