They also have a hard time mating. Males are notoriously bad at identifying suitable mates, often attempting to mate with rocks, logs, or even the heads of conservation workers.💙😎💙

By choosing to drink better coffee, you make a difference — you get a better cup, give more to the farmers, and encourage a more sustainable world. Now what is not in the picture~ A lot of the coffee we drink is farmed by underpaid, borderline slave workers in developing countries. This is enforced by huge companies like Nestlé who are known for using slave labor. This also encourages unsustainable practices, with deforestation to make room for more crops etc, which is ironic because coffee is pretty sensitive to climate change. Coffee from huge companies comes from all over the world, is roasted extremely dark to remove all variance to have a consistent product, stored potentially for years before even sale. Specialty coffee, by contrast, has much shorter logistic lines, gives more money to the farmers and places the coffee itself on a pedestal and celebrates the differences between different origins. It is less bitter, more aromatic, and better for the world. Make drinking coffee a sustainable habit, get better quality coffee!
