I'm still grappling with the fact my body will never be quite the same, & looking for ways to create that are easier on it has resulted in a lot of sewing. I spent the summer teaching myself how to make gloves & clothing in an attempt to replicate a version of one of the dresses from
her Coachella

Earlier this year when my health & mobility started declining I was in a dark mental place. As everything was snowballing, I found myself blown away by Lady Gaga's stunning Coachella performance & l've listened to Mayhem for what feels like a thousand times since.

Something a little different: I made a set of bottle charms filled with flowers and herbs then sealed each with wax. Almost all were harvested from my own garden 🪴 If you’re not ready for summer to end it’s kinda like bottling some of its essence to carry with you. Silvermoonalchemy.com

Hi 👋 I’m still here. I’m gonna be honest, I have been so sick with chronic illness stuff recently. It’s been hard to function day to day. I can’t stand or sit for very long periods of time. Surprise! A new candle scent dropped today 🕯️ Alchemy is a warm blend of woody amber and dark musk with earthy sandalwood and patchouli. It might be my new favorite!

Our soy candles are paraffin free and hand-poured in small batches. Available in a 2oz or 4oz tin.

I painted these mini frames and sewed little cushions into them to use as unique displays for a few charms and embroideries for the Laid To Rest show last November. I showed bits and pieces of this portion of the exhibition on here, but I don’t think I got around to sharing detail shots like this 💜

Another little brass ring that will be added in Friday’s update 🍁 I made a few leafy pendants for the Laid To Rest gallery show last November but a ring version didn’t really fit the display in a way I felt was right, so they became a different little project on the side 💜
