The meg hunt is the beat way to hit G5 fast and get decent loot for HC plus meg meat.

It would be bc since they introduced the new voyages, I NEVER see the new fish on HC boats. Its almost always meg and boar stuff.

This. The best way to maximize it is literally cheesing it and they would rather you not do that yet encourage it. It's such a bad system.

I'd call this one of the worst updates in a long time. It had fun, nostalgic potential but they missed the mark, dropped the ball or simply Didn't Read The Room.
It really is no wonder why the quality of the entirety of Sea Of Thieves is declining.

New horizons are needed.

There should at least be a cap on enough to earn ALL the items if they're going to change every Weekender. Like, they really don't get it. Feedback, Play Test Programs, Forums and even Partners can't get through to them on how to implement these things.

Well, we obviously can surmise it will involve Link, Zelda, a form of Ganon, Hyrule. Games involving Vaati or parts of the failed timelines or Majora' Mask are sideline "shadows" of the Legend.
I don't think it will be difficult to achieve, but it will be a challenge picking/choosing what to use.

I just realized this is live during the TLE Bilge Rats Weekender so I'm sure everything will go according to plan, of which, there is none 😬

I think Link to the Past would be a great adaptation with liberties. Its the first of many staples to the game, is a major dark story and establishes the dual world aspect. Much cinematic value to choose from here alone.

That is how Ocarina became an idea of an Origin but we see how that can be split from the Skyward story. It has areas to take liberties as being a Legend but I would definitely like to see an individual project represent a certain timeline. (Hero of Time/Skyward/Twilight/Wind Waker)

Its absolutely as important as the feel. Each era has its own feel but the core elements of The Legend should be prominent.
What makes Breath of the Wild special to me is it almost acts as an acknowledgement that other games are their own legends told in different times.

There should still be an era (not specific game) its inspired from. One of the things that made Fallout and Last of Us is source material respect. There is a lot to use and branch into, with proper care.

What "Era/Timeline" does the movie take place? That's one factor that can either necessitate or omit certain characters.

No. This game doesn't need an "Extraction Shooter" element of resetting everything to make it feel fresh.
TLE/Adventures were already meant to do that and they abandoned them. Again, if they don't have cosmetics/rewards set up for this reset, it was to buy time since people have nothing to spend on

The sandbox is oversaturated with ways to make gold. A few smugglers deliveries will almost net you a million.
Doubloons were reset because they didn't have enough cosmetic content to cover past TLE rewards and now they're making the same mistake but on a weekend basis 😆

Right now, doubloons are majorly limited to the weekender and the rewards are literally old things brought out of the closet. That's not bad, its that virtually nothing new is on the horizon. The doubloon reset feels like a ChatGPT suggestion. Update seemed like a Claude incident 🤭
