The only way to get a sense of how detached from reality and full of shit our president is now is to watch a full interview- unfortunately most people would rather claw their eyes out, understandably.
Swalwell has announced his resignation from Congress. It’s impossible not to ask why Texas Republican Tony Gonzales hasn’t done the same. And why the GOP doesn’t insist the Epstein files, which repeatedly mention the head of their party, be fully released.
My thoughts on the Swalwell stuff.

I am not sure why Melania Trump decided to make a statement about Jeffrey Epstein seemingly out of nowhere today, but if the idea was to put the ongoing coverup in the rearview mirror it will backfire spectacularly
The whole Melania statement feels very much like she is trying to get ahead of news that is about to break about her and Epstein/Maxwell.
I'll bet Ghislaine is threatening to release stuff on Melania unless she gets a pardon. Remember: all the really bad Trump stuff that's been released came from Ghislaine's discovery files, and those stories leaked to the WSJ came just before her sex offender status was waived.

No not good.. my take on this is: Only 50? That number says more about the rest than it does about Trump. The situation is serious and detrimental to US, it shouldn’t be a fraction—it should be every single one of them. Half measures don’t match full outrage.
I feel sick to my stomach waiting around to see what atrocity Trump has in mind for the people of Iran this evening. It's hard to fathom our other elected leaders aren't able to check him in any meaningful way. It's an indictment not just of voters but of our whole system. We're ruled by a mad king.

Let’s remember that Trump's first pick for attorney general was Matt Gaetz, who paid a 17-year-old for sex. Trump settled for Pam Bondi, who covered up the Epstein files and used the Justice Dept. for political retribution – but not enough for Trump.
The next AG is likely to be even worse.
