The Ambush lose 6-5 in overtime in Game 2 of their MASL semifinal series with San Diego and their season is over. San Diego tied the game with 10 seconds left to send it to OT. Had the Ambush held on, the teams would have taken a short break and played a mini-game to see who went to the finals.

SLU has landed the first of the two big men it's after. First reported by The Field of 68 www.stltoday.com/sports/colle...
Their next road game is Saturday in St. Louis. (San Jose is at home on Wednesday.)
San Jose, City SC's next opponent, beats LAFC 4-1 on the road and are tied for the league lead in points with 21 with a 7-1 record. San Jose has outscored opponents 17-3.
It would take a lot to overshadow City SC's two stunning gaffes on set pieces that sent them to defeat, but the return of Eduard Lowen could be the thing. The gamer, with reaction from Damet and Durkin www.stltoday.com/sports/profe...
An emotional, and frustrating, night for City SC. The final gamer, with reaction from Damet, Durkin www.stltoday.com/sports/profe...
City SC has been outscored 13-2 in its four games at Lumen Field, losing all four games. Every City SC coach but Critchley has lost at Seattle.
It's a final: Seattle 4, City SC 1. City SC's goal in the 92nd minute from Lowen, making his first first-team appearance since the death of his wife. Seattle players going up to hug him after the game.
Cordova had shot blocked, rebound fell to Lowen 12 yards out and he slammed it in to make it 4-1
Amazing stretch as Lowen comes on as sub in 89th minute, scores goal in 92nd.
Rusnak with a PK after a foul by Wallem in the box and its 3-0 for Seattle in the 49th minute
At the half, Seattle 2, City SC 0. City SC did fine defensively except for making the same galling mistake on two corner kicks that led to two goals for the Sounders. Ouch. City SC with a chance or two on offense, but nothing really stands out
Inexplicably, City SC does it again, leaves Roldan alone at back post, and again, he scores on a corner to make it 2-0 for Seattle in the 37th minute.
City SC forgets about Roldan at the back post and he heads a corner in to put Seattle up 1-0 in the 22nd minute.
Tim Ream subbed out at halftime with Charlotte scoreless at NYCFC. #USMNT
Baumgartl, Polvara are only field players who went 90 minutes on Wednesday that are starting tonight.
With the exception of MacNaughton for the injured Orozco, this is the same starting lineup Damet used in the first Seattle game.
Roster notes: Lowen on the roster for the first time; I'd guess if he plays he's a late sub; only changes from Dallas game are MacNaughton for injured Orozco and Teuchert in for Cordova. Lowen goes in, Joyner comes out. Fall's first game on MLS roster
City SC lineup: Burki; Polvara, Baumgartl, MacNaughton; Wallem, Durkin, Edelman, Santos; Hartel, Teuchert, Becher. Bench: Lundt; Fall, Mbacke, Totland, Jeong, Lowen, Perez, McSorley, Cordova
About two hours till kickoff on the West Coast. Here's a guide to the game. www.stltoday.com/sports/profe...
City2 wins again, beating Tacoma 2-1 on an 82nd minute PK. City2 remains unbeaten at 5-0-2.

Lowen returned to practice on Tue, working on his own that day, with the group Wed and Thur. Damet: "It's a matter of how do we integrate everybody and where do we see each guy and where they're at."
Everyone OK after Tulsa game
