I've recently been working on a collab pack with @viperexe.bsky.social called Valley, the pack's main purpose is to make the nature in Minecraft more alive! What do you guys think?

without that, grass would all be oriented in one direction, instead it's rotated randomly

you always could, blockstate jsons let you make randomized models based on the seed and location

Essentially I just added a plane in the moss carpet model with the fog animation, duplicated it a couple times, I offset the fog position and randomized it using a blockstate json file

yeah you certainly could do that with the full moss blocks but it would be maximum 1 block above the ground, I also considered adding that to the eyeblossoms tho!

It's fully vanilla and it's literally just moss carpet model variants

Minecraft just finally made all blocks automatically assign the render layer based on the texture, instead of being hardcoded, meaning that we can now create cool stuff like this fog effect I made!

There are so many possibilities for this, I love this update so much 💛
