I described the "Gas Station Attendant" job being legally protected as "baffling" over on Reddit and jesus fucking christ, apparently that's a hot-button topic that Americans are DEEPLY defensive about.

Also. Endgame was the culmination of the first four phases of MCU storytelling, to go back and retcon Endgame so that your bullshit in the new movie makes sense, means you’ve removed the end of the original story.
Given the only reason to bring RDJ back for this role is because they’re reducing Dr Doom to a fucking Tony Stark variant, I’m pretty confident I don’t need to see “the point where he stopped being Iron Man” to understand what’s happening.
Genuine question, what happens when he doesn’t show up?
I think this is probably a large reason that, even though I’m probably non-binary, I’ve never felt any serious or long lasting distress about being male.
I’m not doing it wrong, your definition is limited and inaccurate.
Honestly one of the best things I ever did, albeit entirely unintentionally, was to change my outlook on this from “I am not doing ‘Being a Man’ correctly, I am failing” to “I am not doing ‘Being a Man’ correctly, fuck you change the definition”.
Oh so that would be like the demo for your version then?
Hey man, we cool? I just noticed that when I look at you the reticle turns red.
All I’m getting from this thread is “What if Disco Elysium but made by Voidra” and frankly, I’m angry I don’t already have this as a thing to play.
Honestly since putting an AI blocking script into my Ublock browser extension, it’s been genuinely refreshing
Because you’re cool, intelligent and empathetic.
And combine that with the fact that you’re genuine and honest in your interactions, people respond positively to it.
I mean, it’s in the name - plACE mats.
He’s 100% correct
Ooof. Just had my first failing grade* on an assignment for my class.

Meanwhile, Me on turn 5 with my RW deck:
It sure would be nice to draw a creature SINCE I KNOW I PUT 'EM IN HERE
How does this work when the AI generates something that is based on copyrighted material? If the feeding is the "illegal" part, is the product not ... actually ... a legal no-no?
Me, wanting to paint some Warhammer minis for literally months
My goblin-brain - No can do, buddy
Me, in the middle of marking assignments for work
My goblin-brain - You know what we want to do more than anything right this second?
Me - Do not say—
My goblin-brain - Paint some Warhammer

New stories from the Legends and Lattes series?! NEW STORIES FROM THE LEGENDS AND LATTES SERIES?!
This isn’t a drill, people. Stay calm. STAY FUCKING CALM.
Yay, final chapter and we’re all back together again!
Are my ethics more important than my pleasure?
I hope so.
It's easy to boycott something you don't like, in fact I'd argue that's not a boycott at all. That's just "not consuming something you don't like".
And it's not like WWE is the only possible version of wrestling out there, it's just the most easily accessible.
And there's a part of me that whines about how it's not fair that I don't get to enjoy something because of the politics of (some of) the people involved in it.
And I just stare at that part of me like "Yeah, it sucks to boycott something you like but that's the fucking test, isn't it?"
Every so often I become aware of just how much I miss watching WWE and I have to tamp down the temptation to watch a little bit.
I stopped watching because of their continuing ties to and support of the Trump administration among other reasons and I very much doubt that's changed at all
For a second there I was kinda interested in a Weird Al dating app because ... what would an Al Yankovic-themed dating app even be?
And then I realised I had misread the capital I for a lower case L
Agonising over this first assignment because "What if I'm being too harsh?"
And if I'm being honest, a bit of "what if they hate me for the harsh marks?"
The living-off-the-grid uncle who had a shack in the bush he'd built entirely from junk and fed the local blue-tongue lizards Heinz baby food.
He was also a career criminal and once got arrested for attempting to burn down the jail he had been released from earlier that same day.
I was never able to commit to buying single issues as a kid, and didn't have regular access a comic shop so even when I did have the money, there was a chance I'd miss issues
Discovering trade paperbacks was a game-changer though.
I can't remember the exact series, but it was definitely Batman
S'posed to start marking my first 'real' assignments for my class and ... I am fucking scared of starting ...
