I suspect there will be a successful team in next 3-7 years that will do loads of video work (maybe there is already) and it will get leaked that they do that. Then players will just accept that lots/long meetings are what you need to be successful and it will be mainstream.

I think players are so competitive they'll happily spend 40 minutes going through defensive setup against every dead ball from their last game if they believe it will help them win. Pretty sure the meetings have already got much longer than when I was at Coventry in 2016 where it was max 15 mins.

Rugby over here has loads of meetings/video work that can sometimes run to 1-2hrs but it's not particularly prevalent at the youth level. Youth introduction would deffo help but I think you just need to convince your players that it's necessary to win and then they'll pay attention for much longer.
