Anyone else hate the diamond shape button standard?

GameCube layout is more efficient! Diamond you only have two buttons accessible at a time, but GC your thumb is ALWAYS on the most used button, and can go to all others in one motion

Hate that the standard was based on looks and not function

GameCube makes rolling the thumb a lot more comfy and easy... Though I find interestingly enough, only one Melee player I've seen in person actually ROLLS his fingers across buttons while playing, and that's HungryBox. Everybody else is goin "clackety clack" with theirs. Bro plays like he's typing.

I KNEW IT! Also- any Crash Bandicoot inspiration? When playing the demo, it was one of the main things that came to mind (specifically Crash Twinsanity)

Hot #pokemon take: Legends Arceus still reigns supreme as the most fun single player experience (for the first few worlds till roughly the last 2(?))

It actually gives you objectives that aren't "finish the game" and feels like there's an actual good reason to fill out the pokedex.
