Good morning Denise! I hope you have a beautiful day!
So true
Totally. But she seems to manage and it's been going on for so long I think it's her normal for her. She went to my naturopath last summer and had her first good night's sleep that night and for the week after. She decided not to go back for some reason⦠and she had healthcare coverage for it.
Distraction is really helpful for managing them for me. Also, if things get really painful, I have some good meds, thankfully.
Big hugs back to Grimbal and Corazon and to you π€π€
Yay!!!! Congratulations! Excellent news ππΎπ©·
Thank you. I've had them for so long I know how to cope even though they are painful. I just keep living my life as best as possible
Damn that work thing!!!
A neighbour/friend of mine has really bad insomnia and is often awake to 4 AM and sleeps until 8 AM and then goes back to work. She works from home⦠This is her life and she's been living with it for years. She's tried lots of things but I think has given up
I live in Vancouver Canada and was born here. Summers used to be lovely with a high of 20-22C but then about 15 to 20 years ago, the temperatures and humidity started changing and our summers got much warmer and drier and more humid. I find it really stressful
Thank you⦠It's ok because I don't really think about naps - I go for walks instead
π
Oh that's awful. Humidity is so oppressive.
π§‘
So true. I don't really need to nap so I never really think of it⦠Just know that once someone suggests it to me I'm thinking not.
They are hideous⦠They're usually related to barometric pressure and late winter early spring are particularly bad as is autumn which is my favourite season.
Yup!
I'm glad you love your napsβ¦ That makes me happy π©·
Agreed
I hear that for sure
My sleep gets worse in the summer too⦠I really hate the heat and humidity
π
I did a 3 min vagus nerve meditation on insight timer a while ago and the range of motion for my neck was astonishing. I honestly couldn't believe it but having done it I believe it!
Thank you for the videos. I'll have a look π€
That's so interesting⦠I am almost afraid to nap because of the anxiety that happens afterwards
Oh dear God! That is absolutely terrifying beyond words!
Your comment actually makes me tear up a little bit π₯Ήwith gratitude to be in this lovely little community I inherited migraines from my father.
Yes - oh joy...
