Colossus in his early days. A shy, naive and quiet young man was a reflection of younger me. The fact that our mindsets were similar but our physicality was vastly different was comforting. If a big handsome guy like that could be awkward and goofy then so could I.

I thought I recognized one of my Meals on Wheels clients in a commercial on TV during the Sabres game last night and today, when I dropped off her meal, it was confirmed. She was thrilled that I saw her and said it was a lot of fun. I really think I made her day and it made mine as well.

Woody was a perfect replacement after the loss of Coach. Similar enough but different enough. Just a great addition to the cast.

We went through exactly the same thing yesterday. Started a little fire to both warm up and burn some old garden leftovers and the sky went gray and started dropping sleet/hail. Hopefully this weekend will be a little nicer.
