A historical 1754 illustration from Amsterdam depicts three vibrantly colored fish with unusual, fantastical designs. The top left fish is blue with bold black stripes, a pink and red stripe extending from its mouth to the tail, and a heart shape on its body. The bottom left fish has a brown, rounded body with a yellow tail fin and stylized facial markings in red and pink. The right fish is tall and slender with striking vertical black and white stripes, yellow spiky fins, and a large, open mouth with visible teeth and pink accents. The fanciful, imaginative style hints at mythical creatures like unicorns through their unique and surreal features.
