Big news week!
This episode we discuss the electoral defeat of Viktor Orbán, violent abuse at Alligator Alcatraz, Tom Steyer’s plan to prosecute ICE, a ‘No Tax on Tips’ stunt at the White House, and multiple attacks at the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
Thank you that means a lot !
Last week a worker lit a toilet paper warehouse on fire, causing 600 million dollars in damages.
Even if viral claims of copycat fires are unfounded, the memes and reaction to this story do demonstrate a form of class consciousness and an active willingness to rally behind such action.
Nihilist Violent Extremism is actually a Biden era term designed to catogorize a then rapidly growing new threat vector that didnt fit into existing modes of understanding. It's not perfect, part of why I shared the GNET article is cause it weighed potential issues, but Ken's report is irresponsible
He's consistently minimized the harm from groups like 764, refused to actually learn how they operate, and turns a very serious problem into clickbait headlines and references to "toddler terrorism" coming next. He wants people to think the FBI is targeting random grade school gamers to drive clicks
GNET and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue have very info dense reporting on this stuff, I linked one article above, but some mainstream outlets have caught up to the issue and done good reporting, like this article from the washington post archive.ph/0Utp4
This clickbait article from Ken is extremely irresponsible and a grossly incompetent report on 764 and the child sexual exploitation rings operating online.
For an accurate understanding of 764 and the "Nihilist Violent Extremism" label, read this GNET report- gnet-research.org/2026/03/16/t...

New article investigating a collection of viral panic-inducing claims.
This clickbait treats every horrific potentiality as an inevitable eventuality, undermining our ability to accurately access risk and effectively dedicate resources to oppose pressing threats.

Text version of the episode should be going up as an article later tonight/tomorrow.
New episode about a series of misleading stories from LGBT news outlets going viral and flooding the zone with doom.
This panic-inducing clickbait is making it harder to accurately assess risk and dedicate resources to fight real pressing threats.
There's been a lot of reporting on Prairieland focused on black bloc and zines, but for this episode we explain the charges used and discuss how the government was able to argue for a guilty verdict in this federal case, and how that strategy could be replicated to repress future protests.
I've been working on one, but Them just published that I mostly agree with www.them.us/story/state-...
Some of the info definitely could violate HIPAA and it's likely that'll be challenged in court. It's also unclear how the data will be turned into a statistics report. Something to keep an eye on for when the Tenn Dept of Health releases guidelines, but the way it's being reported is misleading
Interestingly, the source for claim is the same substack outlet that created the false story about ICE now being able to detain people for "looking trans" based on largely pre-existing State Department policy requiring visa applicants to use "assigned sex at birth" on immigration documents.
The information the bill wants to collect for a statistic report may still violate parts of HIPAA, but it does not create a public list identifying trans individuals in the state. This is fear mongering designed to attract clicks but not actually inform you about legislation.
This isn't true. The bill mandates insurance cover detransition and requires care providers to submit statistics on gender-affirming care to the Tennessee Department of Health, which must "not contain individually identifiable information defined in HIPAA."
SOOOO much news this week
average Kuwaiti pilot
They wouldn't let me title this one "Socialist January 6th"
