I think 16 or 17 is old enough to vote for school board, and I think making Election Day a work AND school holiday should absolutely happen! We should also have same day voter registration - having to register in advance to vote, unless it’s for a closed primary, is absurd.

Eh, I don’t like the solutions presented. Weighted voting feels contradictory to democracy. Democracy means one person, one vote. Even though it’s to correct for other forces at play, I think it would set a dangerous precedent to start making exceptions to this rule. I like the ideas he calls minor.
