Scrafty is stuck up to its armpits in quicksand in the desert, struggling to push itself out of the sandy trap and getting quite frustrated in the process.

Mewtwo sinks up to his hips in quicksand. Transcript: (1) "...? I thought this was solid." (2) "This is really sticky, I can't fly out..." (3) "This is getting annoying." (tail swishes in frustration behind him) (4) "Ugh, I need more practice moving fluids..." (attempting to push the quicksand away with telekinesis, but he is only able to move small blobs at a time)

(Mewtwo attempts to lift his left arm out of the mud, but it is just as stuck as the rest of him) (5) "Grrrrgh!" (Mewtwo leans back and tries to pull both arms out simultaneously, straining himself fruitlessly as the arms are still stuck) (6) "...Help?"

One other thing I've really come to like since I started making my own artwork is being able to tell how an artist made something. Looking at a cloud someone drew and going "Oh, I know the EXACT brush you used!" is still a rare occurrence for me, but it's... I think 'gratifying' is the right word?

And I gotta agree, I'm fine with almost any material so long as you can get stuck in it.

Yeah, it's nice seeing people get better with their artwork over time. It's why I still have my archives of my older artwork, it's good to look back on where you started after a few years!

I can see the vision, once they go under they're pretty much more dead weight that has to be dragged through the mud. If it's really sticky, then they don't even need to go under to become a hindrance.

In a hat shop, Tam the bunny tries on a hat for the first time. While the holes were made for his ears to fit through, actually getting them into the holes is like threading a needle.

First time participating in one of these trends - a quick sketch for #aptoapril, which I just found out about yesterday! Day 4 is for tailors, so here's Tam realizing that his bunny ears make wearing a hat a bit harder than he assumed.
