the bans and violence come about because communities are not being included in private construction decisions which affects them. i see it as justified whether it's a data center, factory farm, or any other private development which sits in a community and isn't housing/public service

also, these designs are not being built on any net zero grounds. even google caved on it. they don't utilize solar either. so you're talking fossil fuels. on my site we legit cut down a whole forest and are intruding on wetland areas. the reclaimed water methods won't make up for that
