I've known a few like that... I used to have someone close who often made fun of me for being socially awkward and weird. They were, uh, pretty fkn weird and awkward, like wow. I think it can be projected self loathing - they hate what they see in others that reminds them of their own weak points.

I didn't have one, there was only one channel. Some days I could almost get the CBC too and watch Sesame Street, but it was pretty fuzzy. Better than watching The Young and the Restless though.

Kinda, but this little lion guy is actually kind of cute though. He looks like a friendly buds, and I like his fancy lil hooves (???). I trust this lion. I'd let him sit on my couch.

You actually kind of do though, but it's weird and unsettling. Be extremely sleep deprived for long enough and you feel like you're entering REM if you even just sit down for a moment. Like, you nod off immediately, and you're instantly intensely dreaming. Wouldn't recommend the experience though.

The US is super bizarre in how many people seem to legitimately think it's normal and fine to paywall life.

I've long had some rage about mandatory formal wear and suit and tie occasions, seriously. I know that might sound silly, but I maintain anyone who demands formal dress or suit and tie is being a dick. It's normalized and seen as correct, but I think it's actually incredibly rude.

I've been using Bluesky for music stuff predominantly, and I'm finding it really helps to just follow a bunch of people and pages doing stuff you're looking to network for. Other similar creators and media organizations, etc.

I don't know that Tetsuo the Iron Man was supposed to be aspirational, but I'm into it.

I'm very personally grateful to rivethead aesthetics though for allowing me to convince myself that my mouthful of metal is just a look, a vibe. It's not big dorky braces, I am becoming machine... ...or something. Thanks, industrial. ❤️
