tbh the barking and whining was a huge turn off of the series as soon as he hatched. It makes dragons seem less intimidating. They had an array of bird sound effects they could've used to make his sounds more intriguing. His animated behaviour was hugely disappointing. Zym really deserved better.

the models are so stiff and lifeless, even in motion. The animal's eyes are looking in opposite directions most of the time and makes them look less impressive.

The art direction for this show is stunning but man...I feel like it's wasted ^^;

The Dragon Prince is simultaneously beautiful and awful. It has a great story that's just covered up with horrible character writing/lines. It's trying so hard to be funny but it desperately needs to take itself more seriously.

I also think it would've benefited from being 2D animated -

The spider tunnel in Spyro A Hero's Tail. Doing that level now is easier but man I used to just restart the game when I got to the swamp :'>

I heard so many blue jays this morning when I woke up! One of them stuck around and kept doing a squeaky gate call ^^

I don't see blue jays much in our tree, if ever so it was a delightful surprise!

I hope when I finish these commissions I'll have the inspiration to draw for myself again. I've just kinda....not looked at my tablet much other than as an extra screen and I feel very guilty about that.

I haven't finished it yet! I highly recommend it already, though. The visual storytelling is wonderful. I've been taking my time and exploring it ^^

I hope we get a true Spyro 4 one day. With Toys for Bob split from Activision I have some hope if they can acquire its IP.

and also kept the portal concepts cuz once they steered away from that too it lost its ties to the original. The only thing Enter the Dragonfly had was the character designs, voice actors and Steward Copeland's music. 😭

I could go on, I dislike Dawn of the Dragon as it is but love what it could've been

The frustrating thing about Dawn of the Dragon is that it could've been a masterpiece of a game if given enough time to finish. There's so much concept art of bosses, monsters and unused armors that are just wasted cuz it got pushed for Christmas. I 100% believe Sparx would've been playable-

I don't really know how much making these calls do anymore, but it can't hurt.

Plus, getting practice in speaking out is good if it's not something you're confident in yet.

He's also just useless, he doesn't contribute to anything in the story other than his parents adopted Spyro and raised him when he otherwise would've died.
I would've enjoyed a mini game similar to A Hero's Tail where you play as him to unlock doors.

As much as I've been against it in the past, I would like to see someone remake The Legend of Spyro series if only to rewrite Sparx to not be...fucking fat phobic :'> Sparx was truly the worst character and I won't forgive them for ruining him.
