a very straightforward way to act against data centers is to see if there's any way you can trigger some sort of environmental review or anything else that slows them down by a month or two or three or six. These are all paid for with debt, and are interest-only payments until completion.

The Paleontological Research Institution in Ithaca, NY, has been in financial trouble for a while. I'm biased because I currently have my life-size giant snail and clam on display, but they're a bunch of great people doing great work.

Anyone else might want to contribute work to fundraise for PRI? If someone is willing to coordinate and run the auction, i will certainly spread the call to all my #sciart friends 🥰

I feel compelled to try to help in what ways I can to donate to the sustained survival of the Paleontological Research Institution. Would people be interested in an art auction for a print from my private collection that I would otherwise not be selling to the public?

This was truly such a wonderful place to visit and what a meaningful trip overall! LONG LIVE PRI!!!

Even if the House was fully functional, they're in session for an avg of 147 days and out for 218.

Under Speaker Johnson, Congress has been in session only 12 of the last 97 days, and he still won't swear in Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva.

These are the people who demand Work Requirements.😐

You all, don't spend even ten seconds of your precious life browsing Grokipedia.

Nothing good will come of it.

Your attention adds value to something of no value.

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

Funny story, I bought 100 extra of these pins with the intention to sell them to those that may have missed preorder, only to for my ADHD brain to LOSE THEM somewhere in my international chaos whirlwind.

Hoping I find them this week as I reorganize 🫠

A photograph of a drawing of two large penguins facing eachother, above the drawing is a small carved stamp of the drawing, with the stamped print being in reverse to the original orientation in black ink. The penguins are very cute and round, painted with black watercolor paint

My Taiwanese grandmother points to a drawing of a mother otter and her baby drawn in grey and brown color pencil. She wears a red and black dress, gold and pink earrings, and a green beaded jade bracelet, her hair is a dark grey color, with a short and wavy texture.

Been busy establishing an artist residency situation here in Taiwan. But i’ve had a little time for art, mainly creating little creative feedback loops with my grandma and her brilliant drawings ❤️ #printmaking #stampcarving #penguins

This is my most confrontational post of the day: please watch Armond’s video & think on it.

It isn’t at all progressive or leftist to spread disabling disease in an ongoing pandemic. There are more Armonds than you know, & folks who don’t mask are making more each day bc most spread is asymptomatic

Allergic to Everything — The Mysteries of Mast Cells How one of the oldest components of the human immune system can trigger a mysterious and little-understood syndrome.

Good overview of mast cells, cells that contributed to derailing my life as it did to those interviewed: “I would describe myself as a person who had tremendous potential in this world, [...] and that potential has been hijacked by the mental, physical, and psychological impacts of this condition.”

a cartoon character wearing a red turtleneck and glasses Alt: Velma, a cartoon character wearing a red turtleneck and glasses from Scooby Doo points upward while saying “that’s the mystery”. Additional alt text message: The levels of evil in that tweet are just insane: Alligator lives matter as a BLM dog whistle. A meals program to one of the longest surviving vertebrates in Earth’s history while advocating for cutting multiple programs that feed American children? Suggesting that the entirety of the latino population of immigrants should be fed to alligators?!? On what planet is that not a genocidal suggestion? Crazy that anyone with this personality could have so much sway on how things in our government can actually go. Not even florida wanted her in multiple elections!

Seriously when does Scooby and the gang pull the human mask off of Laura Loomer’s reptilian monster face already?

Extremely dark that the entire U.S. government is lying down to be steamrolled by something called the Trump agenda for fear of some force called "Donald Trump" while the actual Donald Trump has no idea what's happening
