I recently attended a fantastic talk from @sergiocast97.bsky.social at @glasgowjs.org and it was a really interesting look at TailwindCSS and Figma design systems!

Proud to see that frog crushing his goals! He might hit a PB today!

Just out here gathering some thoughts about working on personal creative projects, would be super interesting to hear what times of the week other folk feel creative!

Hi folks, a small favour to ask of you, iโm looking for a Scotland based illustrator or artist to commission a small illustration to promote the first event, ideally someone who does abstract doodles or similar, students/hobbyists encouraged!
Any recommendations?
Hereโs some examples of style:
These are cool! How accessible is this?
Intriguing!..
Google Lighthouse performance score on my website kelsiesmurphy.com, shows 100 out of 100 score for all areas.
And a good result from Google Lighthouse as well. If there's anything else I should check, let me know!
Thanks Jamie!

Built in Astro and Turborepo, as I have future plans for adding additional apps to the monorepo!
Revamped my personal website for 2025 over the weekend, been enjoying playing with microanimations and hiding little easter eggs around the site, whilst also keeping it minimal and accessible!
Tough morning at the Glasgow Santa Dash..
Iโm a big fan of the official Liberian county flags myself
Use tailwind if you already know a fair amount of CSS, and know the benefits/cons of Tailwind for your specific project, would be my advice ๐
๐๐ depends on whether it is in Japan or not ๐
After speaking to a few other developers, it seems iโm not the only one that enjoys Geoguessr ๐๐๐! If you have an account and want to add a fellow dev interested in geography, my account is www.geoguessr.com/user/5e6a2a1...
I think if it wasnโt for your starter pack, i wouldnโt have dug deeper and set up a Bluesky account, so theyโre a really great addition imo
Incredible flag, Winnie the Pooh in later life splitting an atom..
Had a great evening at @glasgowjs.org's final meetup of the year!
Have taken @jamiemchale.com's suggestion of setting my domain name as my Bluesky handle, which was a quick job! I'm now @kelsiesmurphy.com! I'll probably post about various things here, so hello everyone!
A film photo of the entrance to St Enoch's subway station in Glasgow, a metal and glass entrance structure with an orange circular logo with the letter 'S' in the centre.
A film photo depicting a graffiti mural on a wall next to the river Clyde in Glasgow, Scotland. The mural has the text I [heart symbol] GLA, as in 'I love Glasgow'. This is taken from behind some white railings.
A film photo of a tall old building in Glasgow, at Central Station. it is square in shape, with clocks facing each direction from the tower.
I never used to enjoy taking photos. Recently I discovered a passion for taking film photos, and purchased a Pentax 17, which has been one of my favourite decisions this year. I plan to create physical photo albums again, filled with my experiences across the upcoming years. Any film tips for me?
It's the last meetup of the year for us, tomorrow night 18:30 at Barclays Eagle Lab. We'll have a talk on Demystifying Auth from Mihir Somani, alongside pizza+drinks, socialising and networking with fellow JavaScript devs. All ability levels welcome!
