Thank you so much!
Editing an interview down from 13,000 words today into a nice little Q&A.
I have to say that I really appreciate that technology has come along to assist with transcripts because I used to transcribe all of my interviews myself and it was painful, mentally and physically.
Revisiting the Damned's debut album, 49 years after its release.

I have turned on my Out of Office reply.
Exciting!!
I bought a ticket to the Damned's 50th anniversary show coming up in April, but today I bought my PLANE TICKET to London so I'm really, really actually doing this.
No, I did not just buy myself another thing on eBay again. Not me. Never. Especially not the week before Christmas.
Man answering his phone on the train: Yes? Correct, I’m not at work (pause) I’m not going to answer that because I am not at work today. No, you’re going to have to ask someone who is. Goodbye.
If I get my way, 2026 is going to be full of crazy busy cool things.
Woke up today to an invitation to read poetry in Toronto in early 2026, followed by some quick work on an essay I'll have coming out soon. Not bad for a gray, snowy Monday 💕
I'm organizing some talks about Toronto punk history at the amazing Peach Berserk! We'll be doing a series in early 2026. Details will be out as soon as I've got the speakers lined up. Stay tuned 💕
"It's all about timing" Hauntingly beautiful new poem Levitation Practice by Liz Worth @lizworth.bsky.social now up on DarkWinter Lit! www.darkwinterlit.com/post/levitat...
Another day, another dollar spent on Facebook Marketplace.
But why is this and what is going on with people?
I think 2025 has been one of my hardest working years in a while but I feel really good about all of it.
December is for decluttering / clearing space in all ways.
I got the best ideas today ❤️ And I also started looking into tickets / flights / etc for the Damned concert in London next year so if anyone wants to talk me into it I'm open to listening.
Going to the Paul McCartney concert tonight.
Taking a break from editing to buy punk tapes on eBay. I feel very at peace with myself right now.
Writing deadlines bring me joy 💕
I checked out Toronto's new zine fair this weekend and it made me feel so alive:

I'm going to head into Toronto this weekend to check out Zine Dump, the new zine fair.
I had to dig through some old emails this morning and found a story pitch from 2006 about roller derby. The line "No one can write about girls beating each other up to win a race better than I can" was good enough for my college magazine and I wish it was so easy these days.
The Damned! They are one of my favourite bands. I just saw them in Toronto last month but they're so amazing and seeing them in London would be incredible.
Getting inundated with scammy emails today from pretending to be book club organizers. Authors beware!

I saw "Brain Damage" (1988) for the first time last night. So good! So weird and kind of silly. It's a movie that shouldn't work but totally does.
