Thank you continuing to share your thoughts as you do your re-read. Very enjoyable!

Well, I guess a second one must be made! Nice work!
So glad you are continuing the read-along. Just started my re-read of CoH in hopes that you would soon publish some insights. Thanks!
I need to read faster!
I didn't get any exercise minutes either! Feeling very cheated.
Hope this cold passes quickly! Glad the cats are ready to handle the situation.
Whatever read-along rules work best for you. I will do my best to keep up!
Would love one of these but shipping to US is half the cost of the badge. I will hope that one of the US stores (PiShop US, Adafruit ...) will carry these in time. I guess the high shipping cost is probably due to including the battery.
Firefly is adorable in that photo.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Laser Cutter Setup
Finally got time to setup my laser cutter today. First engravings and cuts are done. Now to create some stuff for my electronic hobbies. Maybe some nice Christmas gifts too!
Great price - picked up a copy.
looks like you to this Prof G!
No - I have never tried those. Looks like you updated to higher quality servos in a later post. Are you using servo easing in your code? I have yet to entirely master that. James Burton did a nice episode on it: youtu.be/jsXolwJskKM?.... Good luck with the project!
Maybe a higher quality joystick?
Up to Part 8 of my "Exploring LED Displays" series. Been a fun journey so far. youtu.be/O8j3s0jJgiw?...
Hope it goes well and you recover quickly!
Awesome - please share how you set it up for learning!
Congratulations!
That looks like a lost cause.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
I started with a cheap iron. I did OK with that and then moved to a Hakko soldering station FX888D. I love it. My number one recommendation is to solder lots of electronic kits for practice. I made a series of soldering videos that documented my learning journey: youtube.com/playlist?lis...
Second video in my "Exploring LED Displays" is live. These fun little displays are providing lots of unique Micropython programming challenges. I am up to 14 episodes planned for the series. youtu.be/ojrOzrVuIr8?...
What a beautiful cat. So sorry for your loss.
Just started a new series of videos on LED displays and the Raspberry Pi Pico. The displays include 7-segment, bar graph, 8x8 matrix and 4-digit 7-segment. Total of 12+ episodes - one per week. First episode releases tomorrow morning: youtu.be/gvRASKGGnUM?...
I did the glass making class (years ago) at Corning where you made flowers using a "pulling" technique. It came out lovely and I still proudly display it in my house. Hope you have a great experience.
I agree. Keeping experienced soldiers makes sense to me. But if Pete says that women must meet the men's standard then everyone should meet the same standard. Acknowledging that experience (that comes with age) is good to have in a unit sounds like that horrible "diversity" to me. Sarcasm intended
The article doesn't say but they should also eliminate the age differences too. If it really is important to exactly match these requirements, there should be no lowering of the requirements as you age. Meet the standard or move out.
Fantastic sign!
