I also live in Kentucky. It's so common I don't even notice it anymore. Except I worked in a mall a few Christmases back...there was a no guns policy at the mall. The guards were CONSTANTLY trying to explain the mall CAN have that policy, open carry state or not. It got pretty heated sometimes.
