On Wednesday afternoon, Johannes Himmelreich presented the last keynote of #EWAF25: "Algorithmic Fairness, Intersectionality, and Uncertainty"!
Day 3 of #EWAF! We started off with a great keynote by @julianejarke.bsky.social
on the black boxes of algorithmic fairness and their "monsters".
Last Tuesday, #EWAF25 featured an insightful keynote by Julia Stoyanovich, unraveling the validity, algorithmic recourse, and auditing of AI in the context of AI-assisted hiring!
On Monday, #EWAF25 hosted a panel bringing together representatives of several civil society organizations in Europe to discuss civil society perspectives and litigation on algorithmic citizen profiling and risk-scoring in the welfare context!
#EWAF25 is happening! We started off strong this morning with a brilliant keynote by Raphaële Xenidis “Algorithmic Governance in Europe: Inside the Digital Machinery of Discrimination”
