Everything points to Viktor Orbán’s defeat and Péter Magyar becoming Hungary’s next prime minister.
Some hints from polling stations that are fully counted. E.g. this one in Nyíregyháza has swung from the opposition winning by 4pts in 2022 to Tisza winning by 36pts in 2026
HU election update: 15% of the vote in -- Tisza projected at 125 seats and Fidesz at 65 . . . 133 gives Tisza the power to change the constitution.
the election office just updated (at 8:12 CET) -- with 6.6% of the vote counted, Tisza is projected at 110 seats to Fidesz 71. If that holds (and it's still VERY early), Tisza wins.

This study shows that disinformation spreads, not as “false facts”, but as narratives. Compare that to how mis- and disinformation are often operationalized in the big-N quantitative and experimental research in the Nature/Science journals — that’s a major weakness in the field.
