5 reasons why Morgan McSweeney using AI to focus group made up voters is really stupid…any you would add? www.linkedin.com/posts/jonath...
I feel like this sums up a fair bit of why the UK isn’t quite firing on all cylinders.
Fast track passport control can do one!
Can someone who follows the migration conversation fact check this? My assumption is ‘crossed’ includes ferries etc or some other dodgy framing so this is wildly misleading… would like to know…
I’ve just eaten a Twiglet out of nostalgia and I urge you not to do the same. Ever.
Some people have kept asking 'bout these questions about AI use in UK government so they've been put on a website to make them easier to find & share

Very painful encounter with midjourneys autotagging today.
I wish Keir Starmer would put a punitive tariff on the import of techno-authoritarian politics from the US.

This is superb and a fact-based elucidation of a real problem when it comes to building greater consensus around U.K’s future to nullify extremism.
I get a lot of AI marketing/lead Gen spam. Was quite impressed by one today that had clearly read the Rootcause website and then tailored 3 ideas for me that they wanted to discuss. Shows people getting their heads around potential, even if I didn’t and won’t reply!
I see Nigel Farage as a bigger political challenge to the values I hold than Ed Davey so do sometimes overlook him! My other point is that people might vote for Reform despite not actually liking Farage. It’s not a guaranteed predictor of voting behaviour.
Pick your poll though.
Isn’t it the case that lots of people voted for Trump who don’t like him? Holding their noses for the perceived greater good? Not sure this assumption has been tested enough. Isn’t Farage the most popular leader?
My 4 y/o just told me that earlier he ‘found a chicken’s bone to make a wish with’ & made a wish but then told me he ‘can’t tell anyone what it was otherwise it won’t come true’ and now I want to know what it was more than I’ve ever wanted to know anything, because maybe I can make it come true.
Asking for a friend but erm, who’s the leader of the free world these days?
Banning teenagers from social media is an exceptionally stupid idea. Maybe let’s try holding social media companies to higher safety standards!!?? www.thetimes.com/uk/crime/art...

In 2016 I wrote a piece for Devex about how US institutions would be tested under Trump. They passed that test. They don’t look like passing it again. The piece seems to have been deleted…
