My idea for a NEW Lantern Corps:
The VIRAL Lanterns. Lanterns who draw from their own popularity to power their ring. Their central battery is in New York (the most viral place on Earth) and their powers get stronger when in presence of an Orange Lantern. Their color is Teal!

I agree. Plus a Green Lantern on a Teen Titans book is a very underused concept (Kyle was barely used in Titans books and they are not his best stories at all). And we are way past due for a new actual YOUNG heroes book.
I think the ideal scenario would have been a GLC ongoing and an Emerald Warriors ongoing. But it is not the early 200’s anymore sadly (fuck you Ryan Reynolds).
They could split it like this:
EW: Jo, Guy
GLC: Kyle, Simon, Jessica
GL: Hal
War Journal: should have been promoted to an ongoing
The more that I think about it, this is my ideal Green Lantern status quo:
John: leading the corps in OA
Hal: takes on a Sinestro role or retires
Guy: Drill Sergeant and GL bar owner
Kyle: White GL (higher threats)
Jessica Cruz: Earth
Simon: Earth
Jo: Deep space guardian

I’m going to read that Cyborg mini in preparation to feel out Hampton’s writing style. My theory is that Adams is listed as writer to draw in readers more than anything (he is already doing GL and Aquaman). Hoping for a Johns-Tomasi scenario where Tomasi sometimes cooked harder than Johns
I’m cautiously optimistic. Adams is… a writer. Hampton I do not know anything about. But I hope for the best
