pictures of me with my art and as a child painting and fooling about. Text says: WHY MONSTERS? Monsters have always had a special place in my heart. I was bullied for years at school and I grew up feeling strange, and didn't understand people or why they were so unkind. I felt like the odd one out, and these monsters help me express these feelings. The monsters are totally at ease with their strangeness and their silliness. Something that has taken decades for me to achieve for myself. (although it was always there in safe spaces).
photo of me and my art making a silly face, and some pics of the three mini books of monsters on the left. text says: These books are for those of us who were never part of the clique, felt left out, or who maybe still feel like a bit of an outsider now. I made this to put smiles on faces and fill tummies with laughter. I hope you enjoy it! Head over to Kickstarter & make your pledge!
Why monsters? Well... where do I start?
It's been a long journey. Are you also a bit of an odd one out? Didn't fit in at school? Maybe bullied? You might find solace with my little monsters too..

Јас имам сензор мачка која ги гризе. We're not the same.
“Anything perceived as different can be seen as disruptive, rather than simply diverse.”
“Sexual minorities are not asking for special treatment,” Yeo said. “They want their lives and relationships to be treated as ordinary, nothing more, nothing less.”
Very happy to be part of this group. Recognition, finally.
I...I think I did it! I succeeded! My crown achievement!
You think they used AI to make it and just searched for the phrase "Ew, AI"?
Yooooooo, charobna shuma ftw still have my vhs, such a trippy and underrated animation!
Absolutely. Considering how overworked and underpaid teachers are, ones that truly care and also have the energy to show that care are super rare.
Obviously I'm biased but my husband is a wonderful teacher and I honestly believe he's left a positive mark on many a people.
My husband: becomes teacher of all ages from kindergarten to adults, his heart breaks every time he parts with a class.
Me: baby fever not once. Let's have cats.
My husband: treats cat like baby.
These people need to stop projecting.
Since any chance of us getting an actual adaptation of the Trigun manga in anime form is down the drain for the foreseeable future, I decided that I wanted to see one of my favorite scenes from it animated anyway. So I got spiteful and did it myself.

Ме преживеа мене, имаш големи шанси за успех.
What if you did Freeman's mind style thing from the point of view of your Halberd?
That's what my husband says too. He's got a high tolerance for spicy but at a certain point he says it overwhelms the taste of the rest of it and is not fun any more. I have to take his word for it, I am too busy hyperventilating at first bite XD
Oh I am helllla picky with my toothpastes cause I have a strooong sense of smell. Could be autism too, I'm not sure whether I am AuDHD or just ADHD.
Dude you should see me wheeze when I try to chew gum! 🤣 My husband loses it every time!
Hey I don't judge what people need to feel love, ya know? 😆 I'm more of a bread and salt girl.
So does mint 🤣
I get blandness jokes, absolutely support the colonialism comments, but am I tired of the "oh you white so you can't hold spice" jokes cause that's not true for my family. And it's not like having genes to hold spice is I dunno, grander somehow? It's not my fault ppl need Scoville 100 000 to feel.
I'm all for like 90% of your message, but...I come from a predominantly white culture that has been under Ottoman rule and is very into both hot spicy and spiced food.
But I can't help my gene mutations that make even mint feel too spicy. 🤷♀️ Give me a shitton of paprika but 1 chili and I'm out.
Make it "There is fresh hot bread." and I'm in!
This is why they should wear name tags!
Woooooo!
I'm sorry. Hope things work out, things hinging on an email suck!
I quite like both Bunpro and WaniKani but take it with a grain of salt, I failed N3 (not cause of them tho, lol, cause of brain damage, probably).
As a teen mum and I were on a trip to Russia. We looked up a Pizza Hut and set off to find it. We got to a torn down building in the spot. Unsure if we were at the right place (no smartphones with GPS back then) we tried calling the place. A phone rang from the rubble.
Luckily nobody picked up.👻📞🚫
Did you smell weed right before hahahah Ask what your neighbours were up to at 2am XD
That depends...are you making toast?
A middle-grade-aged girl wearing glasses, jeans and a frog-covered sweater holds a copy of Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile and looks suspicious as she eyes the door of the library behind her. The door is ajar and a sign on it reads "Missing: Librarian."
In a dark nighttime hallway with huge arched windows, a girl and a werewolf (also a girl) are sneaking around. Both are wearing school uniforms, although the werewolf's has ripped a bit from her transformation. She has just knocked over a small table and broken a vase and the girl is shushing her. Through one of the large windows, we see more school buildings and a full moon. The book cover title is "Boarding School Werewolf" by Jo Barnett. At the top of the cover, it says "School can be a transformative experience."
Four kids in their early-to-mid teens around a table playing Da tabletop role-playing game. The game master is standing in front of a laptop and explaining something that's happening in the game. The other kids are rolling dice, arguing about rules, and explaining a plan. there is a grid map on the table, along with miniature figures, lots of dice, chips, and a sleeping cat. The entire piece is in green and dark pinks and whites, with a dark teal background.
A screenshot from my game Puzzle Spy International, for which I did all of the art and art direction. (It's out now on Steam!) The setting is an ornate Italian geology and archaeology museum, all purples and golds with rocks and a T-Rex skeleton in the background. In the foreground Agent Epsilon in a teal mod dress looks at Stefania Plinth, the museum director in a bun, glasses, and navy blue dress. Stefania is making an angry hand gesture as she says "Those diavoli! They broke in here and stole the Eswatini Giant!"
