COMING SOON!
Digging through an old hard drive, I found a few things I thought I had lost.
One of those things was the first horror story I ever completed.
I have never thought myself all that good at short fiction, but, alas, I plan to release it to the world.
Is it good? I'll let you decide

I am really starting a Youtube first strategy with my writing and brand
Did a quick video to play around with the platform
Would love you to subscribe.
I am going to be talking all things #horror AND will be looking to do interviews with other horror creators esp authors

It really can!
Going from Marcus Kliewer to Louis L'amour was definitely a choice.
Not a bad one.
Just....different.
Oh that's a good idea. I think i may do a KU release to expand reach and up page reads and then do a special edition release
I am reworking a western comic script i wrote 15 years ago into a violent, pulpy short story.
Any pulpy violent westerns anyone can recommend for inspo?
I am picking up The Tall Stranger by L'Amour from my local used bookstore, but that's just because I want to try L'amour

Hi.
This is relatable.
We are friends.
...this is basically all the time I write now. It would be significantly harder for me to write something happy and fluffy than just the worst, most gruesome shit you can imagine or maybe don't want to.
If I ever get a date, she really should be an optimistic extravert to cancel out all of *this*.
I have a couple of pulpy stories floating around in my head.
Part of me wants to wait until they're collected, another part of me wants to release them one by one on KU, then pull em and collect them when I have enough.
Love TG
Thank you!
Shouldn't be too tricky
I actually found a comic script I wrote for a submission on an old computer. It didn't get taken. I wasn't entirely happy with it after submission guidelines, I think i am going to tweak it into a dark, little western
There's so much to learn
Honestly, my most difficult challenge with writing my book was trying to subgenre it. I love horror and all my writing is kind of a jambalaya of it all.
New self-descriptive term unlocked
We have a 12 year old and a 2 year old.
I am very much the cool parent
๐คซ Don't tell my wife I said that
I very much prefer physical books, but my Kindle is almost ALWAYS on me.
Forgive me if its TMI, but, as a child (moreso), sit down bathroom breaks always required reading. I know more about shampoo and bodywash ingredients than an average person should๐
"But not often enough" really resonated with me.
I agree. Writing is what I deem my gift, but I love the art of storytelling in all its forms.
My palette for film genres often surprises people.
And yes, much more fun!!!!
I wrote horror. Though I see myself pulling a King and writing outside of that genre eventually (definitely not THAT far THAT frequently), I definitely think there's definitely much to learn in my lane from other lanes
I read a thriller recently and it totally upped my pacing game on my current WIP
How many authors read strictly within the genre they write and how many read outside of it?
Genuinely curious?
How do I know my 2 year old is mine?
His idea of play is having me just sit here in a Ghostface mask while I wear his Little Beer blanket
I think I am going to be going with this one. The cover is amazing
From an old picture, I know I have:
Dark Castle, White Horse (one of the coolest covers)
Days of Grass
Vazkor, Son of Vazkor
I have so many boxes of books that I need to go through.
My wife calls it hoarding.
I call it collecting.
I kid, as does she. Shes the best
Definitely for adult readers ๐
Cover was by the amazing Insane Camel. He's awesome.
No, I'll find which ones I have and when I do, let me know the best - if you've read any of them
