Last night we went to our very first Halifax Thunderbirds game. Absolute blast. We went from knowing nothing to having a favourite player, and on the way out the kids were given a game ball and some yogurt tubes.
Next time, gotta grab some merch.

Did we perform enough wellness checks? We were all very concerned. Ok, just one of us was concerned, but I dragged the rest along.
πAnd now an opportunity to provide feedback in a Transport Canada consultation on "Canadian experience with vehicle #headlights and glare at night" (open until April 20). ππ

So deserved! Congratulations to Mark!
Halifax here to cheer
Welcome back inside the Cortina Curling Stadium.
There have been 80 wheelchair curling games played here throughout the Paralympics.
Now thereβs just one gold medal game left between Canada and China. One hour away.
What a game. What a week.
Looking forward to home - for a rest.
Love this part
If I had to guess, based on cheer noise, I'd say the building is slightly pro Dunstone.
Even with their guy out, St. John's showed up for this final, y'all.

As if this place wasn't gonna be loud enough - here's today's swag.
Sometimes, you just chuck it and good things happen - Colton Lott, probably
His fans are a couple sections over from us
Way down there
Calm before the storm
Mmmm jello
Back again. Building only about half full. π€
Solid guess
Crowd a little chatty. Nichols puts his hand to his ear as Gushue is yelling something down to him. Crowd starts going "shhhhhh!!!" π€«
The crowd, as they say, went wild.
I mean....
Standing O for team Quebec - three great characters of the game retiring.
In case you wondered who this crowd is here to watch - at Gushue's fifth end break, there is a lineup out the door of the MEN's bathroom.
I wanna seeeeeee
Really hard to tell who this crowd is cheering for.
When the marquee changes from Montana's to Curling Canada the place lights up like it's last call.
