Is he planning on finding the Wayback Machine and dying in 1938?

Where's that Trevor Story when we need him?
Variation on a theme: My mother ordered all the Xmas presents she gave us from LL Bean. After she died, we took the money in her bank account, got everyone's orders, and bought and wrapped gifts from her.(My husband got his annual flannel shirt, I got myself slippers.)
Especially like Unstable and Methol, but since they threw a ringer in there they should also have included New Braintree. (If ya know, ya know.)
I'll be right behind you. Will you be playing Frosty the Snow Man or Cold, Cold Heart to comfort those of us freezing in the stands? Or go for the opposite effect with Heat Wave?
Thank you ! Staying warm's the plan! May there be plenty to cheer for, keeping us nice and toasty.
I'm going tomorrow. Will be down-parka cold, but not raining. Fingers cross the Sox can start at least a one game winning street before the damned Yankees blow into town. (Of course, when in comes to playing NYY, anything can happen. Or so I tell myself.)
A hunger for intelligence and decency...
Couldn't agree more. Hate when the season ends; love when the new one starts up. Come Monday, I'll be freezing my torn meniscus off at Fenway, rooting for my Red Sox. Thank god for baseball season is right
Quite the pitchers duel, but a nice W for the Red Sox! Unfortunately, the game was on Apple, which I don't get. But I kept my eye on it. (What would we do without baseball?)
I'm going on Monday. My favorite game of the year. 11 a.m. start. Boston Marathon runs by close to Fenway. Often crappy weather, for fans if not runners. (Forecast in the 40s.) Sox aren't doing much sofar, but I'm hoping for a good series. Love games against old franchises with lots of history.
Worked a minimum wage job. Changed a bed. Changed a baby. Read a book to a baby. Unplugged a toilet.
Ya know. Done stuff. Someone who's kinda/sorta lived a normal life.
My stomach is churning. The level of grift and corruption is beyond imagining.
Good one!
Well, the layover in Orlando gives you time to get to Disney. Of course, you could just take the Lake Shore limited. Or drive.
He had so many brilliant and hilarious songs. One of my favorites was "Folksong Army."
Remember the war against Franco?
That's the kind where each of us belongs
Though he may have won all the battles
We had all the good songs
First heard Tom Lehrer 60 years ago and STILL remember every word to "The Vatican Rag."
Absolutely agree. After beating the Yankees, the Red Sox were destiny's darlings. Cardinals didn't stand a chance. (I was elated when the Sox won it all, but I wept on the phone with my sister when they beat NY.)
Take a page from the Hungarian left of center parties. Act for the common good.
I'm a nice baptized-a-Catholic-but-born-an-atheist gal from Irish Catholic Massachusetts and I love this guy.
Time for Sister Simone Campbell to get the nuns back on the bus!
Leo does this Catholic atheist's heart good.
There were hooting horns in my Boston neighborhood when Obama won in 2008 and again when Biden victory was declared a few days after the 2020 election. (Election night 2008 was mild. Open windows. Plenty of cheering to be heard. Including ours.)
This is quite something. Just wow. So long, Swallwell.

With you 100%. One thing for me to protest in Boston. Quite another thing in red states and small towns. I have great admiration and respect for these folks.
Can't join today, but you almost got me with the pic of Roman Anthony. I got to see him play last year right before his injury. Saw Ted Williams in his last year (first game at Fenway). Made sure I saw this future RS great in his first.
I was there, too. It was BIG.
I was there. It was BIG.
Funny that this guy reminds me a bit of Rudy G.
