Hmmmmm plumber was 75 minutes late, then mid boiler service I hear the loo door open, thought it was cheeky not asking first but let it slip…. He then stank out the whole house with a 💩 in my loo! Anyone else find this rude? Just me?

ooooo plumber booked to service boiler at 8am…. It’s the only morning this week I’m not working… that was a stupid idea! Anyway, it’s 8.03am and he’s not here yet!

You know what I miss?
Mains drainage and gas from a pipe! Living in the sticks we have to pay for septic tank to be emptied and worry about the gas running out in cold weather! No gas = no hot water/heating! Luckily have a log burner though! Rural life woes!

Yes! Not one of my nephews or nieces have been offered a student exchange whereas it was common place when I was younger

It’s nice to hear that student exchanges can still happen. There’s so much red tape now with safeguarding etc I think a lot of schools choose not to do it 😬
