Finally got my hands on the wing and claw edition of fourth wing and iron flame, got the second book in the Order and Chaos series, the third book in the Sworn Soldier series and then A River Enchanted purely because the FMC and I have the same name and I thought that was cool

Touched up the black cause it was fading out quite a bit and it ended up bleeding onto my red in my bangs so now I have to rebleach and dye them again 🙃

Resizing my one ear after a small blowout is a BITCH - like why did it have to shrink so much and why did I have to put away my tapers to a place I can no longer find/remember 🤣 one ear is 14-16mm (not entirely sure which, I just know it’s big lol) and the other is 12 🤣

But honestly, the pain was worth it cause I think it came out really good aside from a few shaky lines and a few small blowouts over some scar tissue. Seeing as I’m only tattooing myself and fake skin though I’m perfectly okay with my tattoos being a little wonky in some places right now

Lmao awe thank you and yes I was, almost all of my leg pieces I’ve done myself and each one marks my progress as an artist. The knee HURT, like 7.5/10, especially cause I only have shaders and liners rn, no packing needles so it took longer than it would have otherwise wise.

His picture was supposed to show off the composition so far and so I can sketch in the rest of the fill in design but then I saw my muscle and was like..daaaammmmnnnnn…okay I see you

After using my wireless machine for a little while now I can confidently say I prefer my rotary 🤣 my work was better and more consistent

That it did but it was so worth it. I just wish I ate properly before doing it because my had was SHAKY. Aside from a few bad lines and a couple blowouts (tattoos over scar tissue tend to if you’re not extremely careful) I can’t complain especially in comparison to my earlier pieces!

Update: still needs a lot of work but I’m happy with it for now 🕸️✨ not perfect but it’s all part of learning and developing my skills beyond fake skins (which are only help so much before you have to just dive right in)

The panels of the lantern are gonna be solid black to hide most of the design and the spiderwebs will be added after it’s healed cause I want them done in white ink

Blast over design for the back of my leg. When I first started my apprenticeship back in 2018 my old mentor gave me a sugar skull tattoo that he designed and I no longer love it as much as I use to but don’t want to completely remove it or hide it as it still has a lot of meaning

My knee filler I plan on doing soon (is the blacked out star gonna hurt, probably. Is that the point, yes)

Finding and losing my spark all in the span of two weeks is a roller coaster I was not prepared for 😅

Just spent the last two hours planning out parts of my leg sleeve and I think the only thing that will help me feel better rn is to put some ink on myself again - yk REALLY feel something. Also putting more thought into my chest and sternum piece that I wanna start this summer if I can

Strongly considering a mental health leave of absence rn and getting my med dosage upped a little bit cause the last few months have been abnormally rough.

I feel so lost and unsure and just so unlike myself mentally. I’m just exhausted and burnt out all the time lately..
