Hitting the hills for as long as there’s green grass for Leia to roll on! East bay nature is gorgeous this time of year. Summer means too much heat and lots of dry foxtails, but winter/spring after the rains is the best time to go. Great hiking weather and beautiful green scenery.

According to her Embark test she’s a purebred mutt 😆 7 to 10 different breeds in her, making her really look like an Australian kelpie. Based on her looks and personality the cattle dog and lab genes in her are really pulling hard.

I love her spunk! Sounds like she made a very fun game out of it all lol. Humans do the whole ice bath then sauna thing and well… she made her own little version!

It’s astounding how much space even the smallest of dogs can take 🤣 and of course it would be a grave injustice to make them move and so we are just forced into our tiny little spaces and have to be content with whatever spare corner they allow us to have

🤣🤣🤣 ngl I’ve purposely tried some of Leia’s treats because they smelled soooo good. And some have actually been pretty tasty by human standards too!

Although one place didn’t have the dog treats marked and someone ate one accidentally thinking it was for people 😅

The humans got to try all sorts of treats and I was stuck holding the bag! Jk. She had a blast walking around the town getting dog treats while we tried different types of chocolate 🥰 I love when places are pet friendly and have something for the pups too.
