This is the smallest of AI's problems. The AI models themselves are being found riddled with malware , placed in them by no one knows. The worst of it is that no tool exist to scan an AI model and detect the malware. Its being found only when triggered. Which is too late.

A huge failure on AI's part. This is a Trojan horse. It still does nothing to stop malware in AI modles. It reverse engineers' binaries to source. But AI models are not source. They are pure binary data trees.

The article is still missing the security hole that AI opened up into the hackers system also. With LLM's being filled with malware and no protection tool made to protect against them the hacker may themselves been breached and not even know it.
