You could also try to test davinchi if you pass your GPU through to the VM although I dont know how that would work if you use your dgpu for everything

I still do reccomend the VM though if you wanna test a distro with all the things you normally do I did that with NIX before I decided I dont like NIX

I've had no problem with Bluetooth and such? Might be a funky distro you have used?

But I get that the reason i suggested it is if you have no Linux experience (assuming here) and you jump right into it its gonna blow up in your face Linux is not quite ready for thst.
Setup a distro you like-

Windows install with a dual boot just in case something breaks and you NEED a computer I've had that happen a lot.

If your going to stream I dont really reccomend Linux cause OBS will not do hardware transcoding on Linux for some reason. Also davinchi should work? I haven't had any trouble with it and I run all AMD.
VR is still a bit funky on Linux but valve should make it nicer soon
