At one point (hopefully they still do) LuLu did a spiral bound version, which is easier to use at the table
TL:DR Beholder creation myth:
Over time 'Spinholders' degenerate into a evil form, and go through a cocoon-like metamorphosis step
During metamorphosis, they sort of flip upside down, their legs wither to stumps (becoming Beholders eye stalks) and of course they gain a central eye and can levitate
Back in the day (2016) I had an idea for a Beholder hack
A good Beholder type. I gave it a spider form - they can have lots of eyes
I then decided to make a Beholder creation myth from these 'Spinholders'

Each leg stump became an eye and the torso became the Eye-body ... I called it a 'Spinholder'
