My favorite nail file is a rock I picked up off the ground several years ago which lives in a cupholder in my car.

I am playing Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon
1) Its pretty good if you want to play a game like skyrim that isn't skyrim, because you played enough skyrim over the last 15 years
2) The soundtrack is limited but has some great tracks, if you like Enslaved or Ivar Bjornson and Einar Selvik.

Game developers would unironically benefit from getting their lawyer friends to review their rules before publishing. Lawyers are almost all eccentric, despite their usual fees it shouldn't be too hard to find one who will review 15 pages of rules for a case of beer and a handful of miniatures.

Alternatively, matte first, then flick thinned gloss. The point is that rocks look like rocks when there's a good combination of sparkly and dull.

Or maybe a judicious application of actual ground muscovite mica to give it the right effect

Idea: after you paint it, put a layer of gloss varnish over the cobble, then flick thinned matte varnish over the gloss coat until its maybe 70% matte to give it a quartz/mica in granite effect.

No idea of that would work but it makes sense to my drunk ass. I spend a lot of time looking at rocks.

Going from Tyrian Purple being basically the must expensive thing you could buy, to essentially unlimited supplies of mauve made from coal tar, (basically overnight) must have been absolutely wild

Yes. Ultra mare (beyond the sea) because the lapis is from Afghanistan. Very expensive at the time.
Now one can synthesize ultramarine and it is in just about everything (its the optical brightener in laundry detergent, for example)

also all the blue in that painting is probably actual Ultramarine; during the rennaissance it was used almost exclusively for Mary's clothing.

getting really sick of my friends telling me the cursed blade is warping my mind. it's LITERALLY fine. i can stop fucking using it whenever i want. i think they're just jealous. like they know it'd corrupt them but i'm clearly stronger than its influence. in fact, i'm stronger than all of them...

If you don't like how the plastic on your garbage can is all bleached and uv-damaged from constant sun exposure, you can just spray it with armor-all and it will look nicer

The cool thing about cutting off caffeine and nicotine is that i have more even levels of energy throughout the day, fewer peaks and crashes.
Especially in the evening.
Sleep is fine, wake up pretty easily but not great.

Very interesting to see how my personality changes, or what other differences there are.
