Doing some prototypes at work! The vessel was thrown by my coworker, but the etched design is all me!

I found the paper animation for this in my closet so I thought I'd put a process video together. This was how I designed the animation style for Spiderman Punk.

The pokemon sylveon with an appearance similar to the amazing digital circus' pomni, making her half red and blue on a white base. There are several expressions of her.

Verengt glances around, uncertain. They turn back to Talita, eye wider, lip corner tightened, and trunk angled to speak to her more quietly. Verengt: Talita… Are you the only member of your clan here? The light drains from Talita's face, overtaken by dread. Verengt: If possible I'd like to speak to your matriarch, and assure them we will treat you well...

Talita: I don’t have a clan. Verengt's eye widens, mane fluffing out. Verengt: Exile?? Talita rubs her own shoulder awkwardly. Talita: No, uh, never had one. I've lived with aliens since I was a baby. Verengt and their entourage exchange wide eyed, tight-lipped looks, then begin to whisper amongst each other, gesturing and glancing back at Talita. Suddenly, Verengt turns back to address her. Verengt: We know several large clans looking for new members. If you would like to be introduced– Talita: –Thanks, but I'm fine with living alone.

Verengt: Hm. Verengt considers Talita for few moments, then half-lids their eye and curls their trunk up again, the point of their lower lip down slightly. Verengt: Well, let us know if you change your mind. It’s been a pleasure to meet you. Talita tilts her head and smiles politely, drawing the corner of her lip back to show her teeth. Talita: You too! Will I see you on… Um… She peters off, confused by Verengt's face. They have flinched away, mane feathers flared, lips closed but drawn taut, trunk flattened up between their flared nostrils in an "S" shape, eyes squinting with nictitating membranes half closed. Verengt: Talita. Do you intend to bite me? Talita stares in disbelief. Talita: NO??

Page 2: helmet turtle says to a green baby sea turtle, who is waking up out off his egg, “we need to get moving.” CRASH! A cormorant breaks through the ceiling of their nest hole. Helmet turtle says MOVE!

Page 3: “when you’re out there, beeline to the water. Don’t stop. Don’t be a hero. Godspeed.” The helmet turtle kicks baby green turtle out the hole off a cliff onto the beach below.

Page 4: baby green turtle lands on the sand. The distance between him and the water is quite large. Another baby sea turtle is being devoured by a seagull and is screaming for help.

I dreamt of the beach (1/4)

A simple comic of Stinky poking his head through a doorway to ask the writer "Hey, is this Matcha available to anyone that wants it? I took a sip, but it's gone a bit sour" the writer looks up from her work to say "That's not matcha, that's my green slip, it has toxic chemicals in it..." Stinky internalizes the statement, glances back behind him at the afformentioned slip, and looks back asking "So can I finish it or what?"
