I'd call it ignorant, crass and offensive.....but I guess "interesting" works too.

Plenty of people will say they believe in you without understanding what that means. Believing in someone is an action, not a feeling—and it demands something of you. It's being there when everything breaks and when everything blooms. When the horizon is uncertain. There's no middle ground. You either row with them or you don't.

Stop overcomplicating the art of building culture. You want a good one? Be kind. Be considerate. Put service above self. Assume the best in people. Find the 'yes.' Reflect objectively and don't complain. Work hard, be more generous, and recognize that most people are doing THEIR best, not yours.

I 'stole' a fill up for just $3.79 last night. 🙄

I wonder if they've figured out who the real "suckers and losers" are yet.......

What I've watched her do in the legislature—and what Congress needs to see
You want to know what actually gets bills passed? It's not what cable news tells you. Cherlynn didn't walk into the capitol to convince Republicans they were wrong. She walked in to solve problems with them.
HB138 in 2019. HB179 in 2020. HB12, HB95, HB42. Insulin affordability. Surprise billing protections. Insurance coverage. Every one of those passed because she and Republicans actually wanted the same outcome—just for different reasons sometimes. That's the part that matters.
I watch a lot of politicians treat the other side like the enemy. But she treats them like colleagues with different perspectives. You'd be surprised how often that's all it takes. Not giving up what you believe in. Just asking: what problem are we both trying to solve here?
You don't have to agree on everything to agree on something. That's not weakness. That's actually how a divided legislature works. That's actually how Congress is supposed to work.
Both sides are exhausted by the performance. Democrats tired of the endless fight. Conservatives tired of being treated like the problem. Cherlynn knows there's a third option: just do the work together.
That's what I know about her.

Both sides are exhausted by the endless fight. Here's what real leadership looks like instead.

It's troubling when people demand transparency everywhere except from those in power—especially those who wrap themselves in constitutional rhetoric. The Constitution itself was built on the principle that government must answer to the people. Yet they keep dismantling its core purpose.

Only ONE knocked more doors, defeated the GOP three times, and built relationships across all 16 counties. That's @cherlynnforky.bsky.social. May 19th: the clear choice to flip the 6th. I support this message because she's spent years building the infrastructure we need to WIN Congress.

Hasn't EVERY day since 11/8/16 been April Fool's Day in America?

1 nice thing about the men's final four is all the teams are flagship Universities from states with normal Democratic governors so they can make these funny, good-natured little bets with each other because none of them are actively trying to destroy the Republic.

The perpetual 🤡show continues in Frankfort.....transparency, debate and compromise be damned.

Insulin rationing. Surprise medical bills. Insurance companies deciding if you get care. @cherlynnforky.bsky.social fought these battles in Frankfort. HB138 '19, HB179 '20, HB12 '20, HB95 '21, HB42 '22. In a super-minority, she bridged the gap with Republicans and delivered healthcare legislation.

As her husband, I see the hours of research she puts in. @cherlynnforky.bsky.social delivered on HB6 (2024 Budget) even in the super minority—healthcare access, funded schools, economic growth for KY-06. Three terms of proven results. That's the work ethic Washington needs. She's ready.

Schools shouldn't depend on bake sales to survive. @cherlynnforky.bsky.social fought to fix that in Frankfort—now let's finish the job in Washington. She's the proven fighter every teacher, parent, and education believer needs. Let's send her to Congress. #FlipTheSixth #MountainDemocrat

A quiet benefit of being a political spouse is that I get a lot more opportunity to be with Dad (FIL) out CHERing the story of our favorite candidate. Reflection reminds me just how important this time is with him, and how he goes out of his way to fill the gap of my natural father.

Barreling through my FIRST watch of Golden Girls with S3 E21 and MICKEY ROONEY shows up as a mobster. Reminds me of being a kid and how my mother LOVED MR films. Dorothy shuts down this game of strip poker to which Sophia responds, "who do you think you are, DJT? This isn't your casino!" 😆

A St. Louis Cardinals baseball player in a white home uniform (number 41) celebrates enthusiastically at home plate, shouting with his fists clenched. In the background, fans in red Cardinals gear cheer from the stands. An umpire stands nearby, and a baseball bat lies on the ground. Below the photo, a headline reads: "Cardinals opening day coverage: From Wetherholt's homer to the inning that won the game. Post-Dispatch."

Cherlynn didn't just promise to fight for working families—she passed laws in a Republican supermajority that actually did it. That's the difference experience makes. #CherlynnForKY #FlipTheSixth #MountainDemocrat

Best thread in a while, just when I was starting to waive on the bluesky sports presence in general. Still a lot of work to do, but today.....tip of the hat to @labuzamovies.com!

People ask me, 'Can @cherlynnforky.bsky.social be effective in Congress?' I let her track record do the talking. Medical cannabis. Sports betting. School funding. Pro-voter reform. She got it done in a GOP supermajority — through partnerships. Let's help her take that fight to Congress. #FlipThe6
