I don’t “network,” I make friends. Other artists are not my competition, they’re my beloved peers and sources of inspiration. We all have the same goal; to share our art. I’m not gonna corporatize my human relationships with them. I am in my sandbox playing and I hope they join me.

Back in the old days of DeviantART, I'd dedicate a day to comment on new artists I found. Finding new faves, giving thoughtful insight on works I enjoyed, encouraging others.
The current artist website landscape doesn't feel as welcoming for that, and I'm really missing it.
