Thanks Matthias!
A discussion I had with @pfrazee.com @bnewbold.net and @dholms.at at the conference that I wanted to dig as a community is a TLD for atproto handles.
Lots of challenges, but I think I'm looking forward to a world where I'm @goto (syntactic sugar for goto.handle) on the web rather than @sgo.to
Thanks and I agree
Nice!
Yep!
Thank you Yasmine!
Thank you!
That’s one of the things I’m paying a lot of attention to, agreed completely
Thank you Marc! ❤️
Thank you!
Same!!
Thanks Joe!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Yay so excited to be working with you!
Thank you Dana!
I'm so excited that this move also means I get to be working alongside so many web legends in Chrome I have looked up to throughout my career! 💥
With this transition, I am moving from leading large organizations back to the IC track. I’ve swung this "managerial pendulum" several times in my career, and I’m energized to return to deep technical work at a moment that so clearly demands it.
In this new role, I’ll be working alongside world-class colleagues to redefine the web platform for an AI-first runtime. My mission is to architect a "composable web" that enables safe, standardized, and mutually beneficial interactions between creators, users, and AI agents.
AI is here, and if it is, we have to caretake the ecosystem with thoughtfulness and care.
We’re seeing a fundamental sea change in web architecture. While this promises innovation, it also demands a rigorous focus on security, privacy, and user observability. AI is a technology.

📣 After nearly 5 fulfilling years leading Core infrastructure organizations for Google, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve taken on a new role!
I’m going back to IC work as a Distinguished Engineer- my new role is in Chrome as Area Tech Lead, AI Web Ecosystem! 💥
yes indeed it is!
Hire Phil! I have personally had the pleasure of working with him, and he’s the absolute best. Top notch devrel, educator, speaker, due to his background in standup, a top notch MC for conferences. And he has a great sock collection.
All the important things!
Yesterday was my last day at Deno.
From today, I'll be cheering the talented team on from outside the org.
This also means that I'm now considering my next move in the DX/DevRel/Technical marketing space.
Just sent out Diversify Tech's newsletter for students and entry-level professionals.
We listed internships and roles that ask for 1 year or less of experience.
Here it is: early-talent.diversifytech.com/p/student-ed...
Please pass it on to anyone who is underrepresented in tech.
Chrome is announcing that they are moving into a two-week release cycle! Exciting bc the web needs to move quickly- resolving bug fixes, feature improvements, etc. It goes along with devops principles of shipping smaller, more frequent releases for stability

Yes! My thoughts exactly
“if you won’t let us use your product to spy on Americans and kill without supervision we will single-handedly destroy your business by fiat” is the single most authoritarian anti-business action I can ever remember any administration taking
Card says “beautiful sarah, this card reminded me of the time I was fixing my hair in the shop window, when the breeze from the cellar blew it apart. We both really couldn’t stop laughing. I am walking around the city, looking like someone pulled my hair straight up. That was a fun day, right?”

My dad sent me this old card from my gramma. I miss her very much. I can hear it in her voice. And it was a fun day!
