People who go around saying there isn't any webcomics out to read need to find people in webcomic community and get some sweet recs. I know the algorithm online nowadays is borked, but there's a bazillion webcomics out there.

I love how the 2015 version is desperately avoiding backgrounds but the new pages have compositions that are so grounded and well planned that you hardly notice that they barely have backgrounds either.

Uhm actually I make comics for the joy and whimsy of it and also because there’s something deeply wrong with me so jot that down

I had an art teacher in university who practically boasted about one point in her career where she was drawing on the back of old pieces because she didn't have money for more paper and counseled us students that 'it be like that sometimes'. But even she had support to become a university professor.
