Day 7, we came home to 11 of the big trucks w lifts on them in a .5 mile stretch of road that centered on our driveway. Our well transformer wasn’t missing; buried in snow. AND I found our mail and packages that hadn’t been delivered in a week. Ending this week much better than it started.

We are finally back on the grid. The blizzard last week took out our power for 6 straight days, mostly out on day 7 - 9 too. Water back on the end of day 8. Luckily it wasn’t super cold or hot and we met a great electrician that is happy to do work in our area. 🎉

Searching “dk self striping” on Etsy brought up several for me.
I got some of this recently.
Colourlab DK by West Yorkshire Spinners. No nylon, but it’s the toothier stuff and I think it will wear well.
I have some stash from Tiny Human Knits and Must Stash - both those can be hit or miss.

There’s a Bald Eagle sitting in the tree above our chicken barn. It’s a massive bird. I don’t mind it coming to visit if it takes one of our many roosters.
