I don't think Platner will fight for anyone other than straight white bros.

But the election isn't today. If Platner wins the primary, Collins, the RNC and the RSCC will fill the airwaves with all of his garbage and make him unelectable to independents and Dems who stand by their principles. Collins will squeak by again.

John Roberts has destroyed the legitimacy of the Supreme Court. Restoring it will take careful thought. We need to go back to the 60 vote Senate threshold for confirmation. Term limits and stringent COI requirements are necessary.

Platner has already caused serious harm to American democracy, and the harm will be far worse if he is nominated for the Senate. Already, the GOP is denouncing the Dems as the party of Nazis, and, for once, they are correct. Every Dem candidate at every level is already suffering because of him.
