Green-tinted poster of Howard Hawks’ THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD movie (1951), featuring 3 cast members.

(Re-post, because typos & these can’t be edited)

We enjoyed watching Howard Hawks’ THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD (1951). Such solid, no-nonsense performances, it’s easy to tell this is the guy who gave us HIS GIRL FRIDAY, and loads of cowboy films.

Looking forward to rewatching THE THING (1982).

From The Munsters to Godzilla to Hellboy, monsters make for some interesting stories.

We really like monsters from classic literature— like those interpreted by Universal.
